Housekeeping and Other Important Tasks

Weekly Report 9: 10/16 - 10/22

This week in ISM, basic work was completed. The interview conducted on Monday provided great insight on radiology and its role in a hospital setting. The knowledge gained from the interview will be helpful in creating an original work and in overall understanding of the field. Most goals for this week were met, however, an interview has not been scheduled for next week. This could create some difficulty, as communicating with licensed radiologists is proving to be difficult. This could be a result of not calling the right departments or simply not having found the best way to get in contact with these professionals.

Work ethic was fine this week, all assignments were completed on time and to the best of ability. Much thought was put into the original work proposal, as this is an important project for this year. After the interview on Monday, the drive for obtaining an interview with a radiologist has increased. The drive for knowledge is being halted by a communication deficit, and will be addressed in the upcoming weeks. Work ethic for the Assessment was great, and all other work was completed. A variety of knowledge was gained from reflections on research and interviews this week.

Going into next week, the main goal is to obtain an interview with a licensed radiologist. Calling will be increasingly important this week, as finding a way around automated messages and voicemails is very important. Getting in contact with these professionals is difficult, but there is lots of determination and drive going into next week to figure out how to obtain an interview and also a mentor.
