Inspiration Comes from Everywhere

Weekly Report 14: 12/4 - 12/10

Stress was low this week, which can be attributed to the amount of time spent creating art. This week consisted of hard work and newfound love for the class. It was refreshing to enjoy the work being completed. Progress was made on the original work and all supplies were obtained for the larger paintings and sketches. The goal of obtaining an interview was completed four times. All interviews were over the phone but were extremely helpful regardless. The goal of revising previous ISM documents was also completed and is ready to be printed and displayed at showcase. The website was also updated, published, and submitted. With this newfound positive attitude, everything in life inspires drawing, painting, or collaging. This allows for progress in the portfolio.

Work ethic was vastly improved this week. The work being done now doesn't necessarily feel like work, so that contributes to this outcome. 10 hours of this week was spent on the portfolio, and this will be beneficial in the outcome of each piece. Time was managed effectively because it was willingly spent on ISM work.

Going into next week, a goal is to obtain an interview in person. This will be helpful in obtaining a mentor and creating more connections. Another feasible goal is to spend 15 hours on the portfolio. This will be integral in creating a portfolio that fully shows off the artistic skills and creativity put into it. Overall, spending downtime creating art and working on the pieces will be extremely helpful in the success of the portfolio. Above all, the ideas of positivity and creative thinking will be kept in the following week.
