Weekly Report 2

Weekly Report 2: 8/27 - 9/1

This past week was for research. Specifically, research on radiology and the basics of the field. These basics included understanding and reflecting on the field of radiology, the education, training, and certification required, salary, career outlook, and current trends as well as other important facts. Reflecting upon these topics and researching to understand them further, was helpful and will be a solid foundation for this year. Understanding these topics will be integral when speaking to professionals and acquiring interviews.

Work ethic is something that needs to be improved. With seven practices and a football game, sapphires got in the way of ISM work in a major way. When practice was not in session, I was doing homework for other classes or sleeping. ISM is a priority this year, and needs to be treated as such. Research Assessment 1 was a much needed lesson, and will be remembered further down the road. Time management is something that needs improvement, and this crazy past week will help structure my schedule in the future. ISM work will need a bigger time slot so the work will be given the best effort possible.

Next week, time management and work ethic will be improved. More time will be cut out for ISM work, and procrastination will be nonexistent. Assessment 2 will be taken even more seriously, and will be given more attention. Goals for this week are to research further into neuroradiology and to find local neuroradiology facilities.
