Paint, Paint, Paint

Weekly Report 20: 2/4 - 2/11

This week allowed for the creation of a new painting, and the evaluation and completion of two previous paintings. Progress is being made towards the final product and efficiency was great this week. A goal for this week was to spend an hour working with photoshop. This was completed, and knowledge was gained about how to work the program. Another goal was to work on the website. This was also completed and the website is now equipped with more aesthetically pleasing pictures, and a new background that was created by mixing paint on a pallet. Working with these new pictures and photoshop was helpful in creating a better website. Time was also spent with Milessa working on a new painting and a variety of other very important details that will be integral in the future.

Work ethic was great this week, as preparing for absence from school friday through monday was important to keep in mind. All work was completed before deadline, as it was understood there would not be time over the weekend to work on ISM. Therefore, time was spent appropriately and managed well. This will be continued moving forward.

This upcoming week should be spent working on technique with Milessa as there is two mentor visits planned. This technique work will be beneficial moving forward in developing more paintings for the final product. A goal is to finish the three paintings that are currently in progress, and begin a new one. Referring to the final product calendar will be helpful in this, and achieving the goals set for that project.
