Weekly Report 3: 9/3 - 9/7

This week was the most productive week thus far. Having a Thursday night game proved to have a positive impact on work ethic. A goal from last week was to spend more time on assessment 2, and this was accomplished. Researching new topics was interesting, as always, and is integral to success in future projects and discussions with professionals. The contact log was fun to create, as searching for professionals that could possibly be a mentor is exciting. The work completed this week was enjoyable and completed with efficiency and assiduousness.

Time management was handled well and stress was not high. This past week was rewarding, as it proved this class can be handled alongside coursework from other classes and time consuming extracurricular activities. This effort and time management will be continued into next week.

Next week will be focused more on the resume. Goals for the resume are to use words that make past accomplishments seem better without inflating them too much. Also, to learn how to highlight personal qualities to seem like a desirable candidate to the professionals that will interview me. A color scheme will also be found next week as it will help with planning the look of the resume, and creating an aesthetic for the year. Next week will also be used for setting up a professional voicemail message and beginning to call professionals. A goal for this task is to come across as professional but stay concise and to the point when conducting calls. A reach goal is to get an interview, but a more reasonable goal to put forth a considerable effort in obtaining one.
