Weekly Report 23: 2/26 - 3/4
This week was enjoyable, and was a helpful reminder that work is only “work” if the work being done is not entertaining. This week was full of work, but it was fun and exciting. Painting three new pieces was exciting and will prove helpful in meeting final product deadlines. The February 28th goal was accomplished, as five paintings are completed. This morality boost is helpful as going forward more challenges will arise.
Work ethic was great this week, and all work was completed ahead of schedule. Since no assessment was due this week, time was spent updating the website and finding locations to contact for an art show. After discussing with Milessa, some locations are decided on and will be further evaluated moving forward. Overall, time was managed efficiently and all tasks were completed.
Going into next week, cold calls will be starting again. Since a location must be determined for the art show by April 12, it will be helpful to achieve this goal early to begin working with the location on placement and other important details before the time of the show. Painting will need to be a priority and efficiency must be kept in mind as all paintings are to be completed by March 15.
