Work Week

Weekly Report 18: 1/21 - 1/28

This week consisted of original work reflections and preparations for the original work presentation. Goals from last week were met as a painting was finished this week. However, no new paintings were created with Milessa as she was out this week. Instead of a mentor visit the time was spent working on ISM documents and last weeks visit painting.

Work ethic was good this week and all work was completed efficiently. Ideas for the final product was evaluated, and the original work presentation was completed. This will be helpful moving forward as more time will be spent painting since ISM work was completed early. Time in class was spent efficiently and outside of class time was spent painting and thinking about topics for the original work. This week allowed deeper appreciation for Milessa, because I was honestly quite bored without having time to paint in her studio this week.

Next week should focus on painting and making final touches to the original work presentation. This will allow for full preparation going into the original work presentation. Evaluating the last presentation will be helpful as well in improving performance and speaking presence. Painting will allow for technique work and preparations for the final product.
